What’s Winter Solstice? 

Winter Solstice is a special time of year that marks the symbolic death of the sun and rebirth into a new cycle of life. Many cultures around the world celebrate and rejoice at this time as they welcome the light back in. The winter solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, is the shortest day of the year with the longest night of the year. While a lot of the healing work we do is focused on the light, this is a beautiful time to honor both sides, as we all know you can’t have light without dark, daywithout night, summer without winter. 

About This Experience

This Bonfire Purification Ceremony intends to celebrate and share our unique stories as warriors on the path to illumination. Your journey will begin with breath work and sound medicine / chanting Mantras. We will open and create a sacred space for you to feel safe & loved. We will open our bodies up with a fiery and nurturing Sun salutation flow that will be suitable for anybody and all levels of experience. The second portion of our time is centered around knowledge sharing of the solstice and our journeys. We will not share our unique story of what this special day means. I encourage participants to contribute their story but don’t worry, this is an invitation, not an expectation or requirement for participating warriors! You will  receive 1 cup of cacao, followed by a soul guided journey meditation with sound healing. Cacao is known as the "Grandmother" and we will invite this wisdom to bring healing & new perspectives to our lives. Ground your energy with Mother Earth as she holds you in your experience. You will be invited to partake in the steam chalice for a sacramental offering with cannabliss. You will be invited to release what no longer serves you and create space for what does through fire purification ritual, affirmation channeling and journaling. Grandfather Fire shows up in our lives in many forms. Either physically or spiritually, the fire has the power to destroy what once was and create fertile grounds for new life to emerge. In this ceremony, as the fire burns we will take great honor and care in ensuring the flames don't die. It is in the fire we see clearly. We see our truth, We see our fears, We see our power.
